Custom Software Development
One of the services that we provide is custom software development. While developing software, our mission to provide products and services that create efficient user-friendly interfaces and reduce data redundancy, is at the forefront of our minds. Many software programs appear to be developed without considering the user, or how the user works. Whether integration legacy data or developing purely customized sofware, our primary concern is the user.
We began developing custom software when we could not find software that worked the way that we wanted. The software available seemed to get in the way more than it accomplished our tasks, thus, it forced us to do extra work with no benefit.
Our approach is to analysis the whole process, understand the workflow and then develop a solution that works within that cycle. This makes the user more productive since the new software complements an already familiar environment, provides automation and reduces training because the software works the way the user expects it to work.
We are well grounded in the .Net Framework and many of the languages that are supported by Microsoft, however, we are partial to C#. We also have vast expericence in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005, and Oracle databases.

Sharepoint Portal Server
We use Sharepoint for all our internal documentation, collaboration and lists. It has become our standard for tracking our software installaitons, issues, and event plans. We have ample experice in building custom web parts, and backup and recovery services, as well as, exposing the Sharepoint site, or portions of the site, as an extranet.
We have been using Microsoft Sharepoint Portal Server since it's initial release in 2001. We loved the product even though there were some quirky things involving backups, and exposure as an extranet was troublesome.
With the release of Windows Server 2003, Sharepoint Service became part of the operating system and together with Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 and now Microsoft Office Sharepoint Services 2007 (MOSS) built on top of the already great feature list make it an even better and more powerful product.
